Be One With Me
Denied thee have I
for reason of no worth
Excuses createth I
to delay our meeting
A timeless man
with no time
No time to listen
yet time to build walls
Denyeth myself thine pleasure
thine ageless peace
Be there thy always
timeless
Beckon to me daily
mine essence do thee attract
Thine magnetic force senseth I ceaselessly
yet ignoreth thine love do I
what a foolish man
O’er the ocean gazeth I
distant lighthouse beacon beameth
symbolic of thine gravity
ever tugging—thine tide
ever reaching—thine waves
ever whispering—thine surf
What man be I
one who listens but cannot hear?
She speaks to me so passionately
she waits for me so patiently
she caresses me so tenderly
Here I am
Embraceth me with love she whispers
Give it up
drown your troubles in mine essence
mine waters will give thee peace
Venture out of thine confines
Disrobed am I for thee
Come out of your shell
Be one with me
Toucheth thee through thine barrier I cannot
Seeth I this window man peering out to me
venture out
closer to me
the seashore
thine mantle of love
nantasket beach you so nameth
there we shall meet
I shall be with thee
when my waves caress your feet
