Crashing Waves
Onslaught of love’s passion
Crashing upon the shore
Wave after wave comes forth
Swelling and rising to the sky
Growing taller and stronger
at the very sight of the loving shore
Her sandy smooth skin surrounds him
awaiting his coming
For water and land beget nothing alone
only their sensuous meeting upon the shore
begets the birth of poetry
Behold . . . he comes
moving ever faster towards her
He stops . . . quivers
the wave shudders in final swell
hanging suspended in mid air
passion locked, fixed in time
cresting on high
In final climax
crashing upon her
Swirling white foam of passion abounds
their voices sing as one
crying out loud for all to hear
such in nature’s love
