Dualistic Unity
Dualistic Unity
Lighteth Darketh
0+1
Dualistic nature we createth
Good + evil
Woman + man
In twos do we thinketh
Either/or
Hunger – satiety
Life + death
As such we be’eth
All we be
all we fear
all we see
We createth
The star to guide us
the poison to end us:
we be author
Such power have we
Such illusion we make
Such superstition surrounds us
The creators we be
yet recognize not
Hence blame the darkness
Worship the light
How can such genius be so foolish?
Create and forget
Like a squirrel be we
Forgetteth have we
That we possess the magic
The key to eternity
to happiness
to infinite knowledge
What greater humor
What greater sadness
existeth not
We searcheth our whole lives
as did my loving mother and father
and their mother and father
all the way back . . .
We hopeth that our children will
find the key
We look but cannot see
Searcheth all the wrong places
Generation upon generation
More powerful microscopes search inward
telescopes search outward
But thine searcher
search not thine self
The cosmic joke be on us
What ecstasy, the laughter!
infinite laughter
Laugh now on thine self
I createth
I can taketh away
What joy!
Stop the laughter I cannot
I have found the key
the key is me
t’was here all the time
I have gotten to where I am
be it ultimate perfection
all is one
divideth not
the game is over
we have won
