Intensivist
Intensivist
Intense be she today
Mine house shakes with her force
Her love cresteth thine waves before me
She remindeth me that she existeth
Complacent have we become of our loving mother
Speaks to us daily does she
yet heareth us only the screams
they listen but they do not hear?
me thinks not
for they listen not
closeth be they
electronically enchained
“consciously challenged”
door be closed
but peereth through the window
hope remaineth
“come back to mother”
to comfort, warmth, understanding
choose . . . be forced not
before it’s too late
intensive care not my specialty be
preventive health is what nature be
worketh us together
to preserveth all
or else out of balance we be
stormeth on do I
intense—intense
playeth us together
calmeth mine mind
feel mine thoughts
embrace we must
balance we be
calm thine seas
be with me
