My Love Beside Me
My Love Beside Me
Night, my love beside me be
That which sees all is not seen
In thine darkness so do I trust
Thine hand taketh I into thy fold
Devour me in thy cloak
Surround me in thy embrace
With thee so am I whole
In thine darkness mine mind
stopeth mine blindness
Mine mind cleanseth in thine darkness
leave me nothing for which to cloudeth
Reborn be I in thine night
Perceiveth I only now thine light
Now to thee am I whole
For dark be light
And light be dark
At one with this am I
Heedeth thine call on this night do I
For so long have I been without your embrace
Be thee at all times around me
Yet I chooseth not to see thee
On this night be I re-born
To thine eternity am I awakened
At peace be my mind
At long last am I fee
To seek thee
To know thee
To be thee
Shine down through the darkness of my mind this night
Mine brother moon how I thank thee
Mine sister stars how I adore thee
Take me—take me.
What be that which is I
Question on do I to that which is ours
Through thee me thinks knoweth I
For seeth I in thine fold myself
To thine light I shall not sleep
To thine darkness I shall not be blinded
Hereforth let it be said
That to thine beauty writeth shall I
