My Love, The Seashore—At Night

Sentence me to thine trance

      our worlds intertwine

            weave by passion

            embrace and clasp

Thine mind be mine mind

Thine thoughts me nourish

      taketh root in mine consciousness

      here transfereth thine form

on the shore of our worlds

Open and bare to all be I

In rapture we unite in love

for what can I giveth back

but the poetry of our encounter

Thine graceful beauty of this garden

      be but one gift

            splendorous crescent moon rise

            amorous pounding surf

            spellbinding sparkling worlds

But thy greatest gift be what is not seen

that fold which words expresseth not

            thy ebb and flow

            tides of lifeforce

quiver our touching bodies in ecstasy

that moment of climax when all is one

            no surface divides us

thine soft waves of wine lap into mine veins

intoxicated with the knowledge of thine essence
