The Encounter
The Encounter
Beholdeth I
To thee I cometh
Surging, building, growing
Onward moveth I towards thine shore
Beest thou mine confines
Through thee I must pass
Or upon thee I shall crash
Seeth thee I my love
As seeth I thee my love
Upon thee I must cometh
Seeth with thine eyes of stone mine final surge
Buildeth up mine tension
Closer, closer to thee I surge
Suspended I hang
Finally
Upon thee I foameth
Shattered and torn mine surge disappeareth
Sizzling salty juice beeth I
Dripeth mine remains from your form.
Formless and empty am I
Upon thee came mine final moment of glory
What wonderful release be this encounter
Now returneth must I to mine source
Slowly runneth I back through thine fingers
Towards the depths I must return
On to thine setting sun be I
There shall I strengthen once more
Newly surging, building, growing
To thee I shall inevitably return
Smashing and melting upon thee
In wave after wave of love
